A home grown together

We’re a small group of co-op enthusiasts, committed to re-starting a tradition of cooperative living that dates back to the 1990s. We share a huge project that we hope endures behond us — and we're looking for new members to join us.

Co-op Basics
Doveland runs on a rotating cook cycle and shared labor system, with every member contributing to the life of the house. This isn’t a place you simply live in — it’s one you actively shape and sustain together.

System Building
We’re creating the foundations that make communal living work: onboarding, chore rotations, and food systems. New members step into a house with structure while still having meaningful input in how it evolves.

DIY Spirit
The house is an ongoing renovation project — we’ve made progress, but significant work remains. Saturdays are spent working alongside housemates.

The house was built in the 1890s and is quite beautiful, with high ceilings and wonderful character — but it was neglected for some years and needs fixing up.
